Hospitality HouseKeeper – version 3.17.0 – September 2021

This release contains many new features resulting from our client-driven development processes.

What’s New

Functionality

  1. HHK now has a dedicated field for Ribbon Notes, which display as a suffix to the guest name on visit and reservation ribbons on the House Calendar page.
  2. The patient diagnosis selector now has an optional free-text field to add specific notes pertaining to the diagnosis. We can turn this on for you or you can turn this on yourself (with admin-level authorization).

Workflow

  1. HHK allows new reservations with an Expected Arrival Date as the same date as an active visit’s Expected Checkout Date. HHK previously disallowed this behavior under some conditions even with the IncludeLastDay system configuration parameter set to true.  (Set this parameter to false to keep a one-day buffer between an expected checkout date and reservation expected arrival date.)
  2. When refunding an overage on checkout, you can now change the refund date to something earlier, but only with the cash and check payment methods.
  3. The Waitlist tab now features an Updated-By column, which will display the username of the person who most recently created or updated the Reservation.

Reports

  1. The Demographics Report now includes an option for all guests STAYING in the timeframe, instead of just STARTING in the time frame.
  2. The People Report now has an option to show guests only once (instead of one line for each status), when you run the Patients-Only or Guests & Patients report.
  3. The People Report can now filter guests by County (previously it was only Country and State).
  4. The Reservation Report now includes the email address of the primary guest.
  5. The Current Guests report has joined the other reports with the ability to select fields to display and save field sets.

Configuration

  1. The configuration to insist on guest birthdates no longer applies during the Reservation process, but still insists on guest birthdays during Check-In.

Fixes

  • The Room Report (by month, year, and fiscal year) no longer adds an extra day to the end of the time span.
  • The Housekeeping section is now displaying the list of room names in the intended order – the same as the House Calendar page.

And of course, many minor improvements to processing, security, logging, and performance.
