Hospitality HouseKeeper – version 3.16.1 – January 2021

This release contains many new features resulting from our client-driven development processes.

What’s New

Functionality

  1. Hospitals (and all Hospital information—Doctors, Referral Agents, Diagnoses, etc.) are now tied to Visits. This means they can be changed without affecting earlier visits to the house.
  2. A new text field has been added to the Hospital Info box. It’s default title is MRN (Medical Record Number).
  3. On several reports, users can save personal filter preferences for later reference, and Admin Users can save preferences for the House, which all house users will see.
  4. Hospitals can now be “retired”, maintaining past visit data while no longer being able to select that hospital for future visits.
  5. A guest statement can now list out daily charges; toggled on in Site Configuration.

Workflow

  1. The Primary Guest is now indicated and listed first on the Registration Form
  2. A Print button has been added to the Rooms Not Ready tab in Housekeeping.
  3. When refunding an overpayment on check-out, Check is now an option along with Cash and Credit Card.
  4. On the Register, the row that separates the Waitlist from the Confirmed Reservations and Visits is now grey, for better visual separation of the two sections.
  5. The Check-In process now shows if a guest is new to the house, or is a returning guest.
  6. The credit card Name field now only accepts letters, not numbers.

Configuration

  1. Labels (the headings of everything) can now be changed by Admin Users.
  2. The “Default Blue” calendar ribbon color can now be adjusted by the house, in Site Configuration.

Reports

  1. The Admin Side Category Report now shows all Guests and Patients, after considering the House’s Solicit Buffer.

Fixes

  • Payment Receipts now accurately reflect today’s date.
  • The Visit Report no longer adds an extra day at the end of the time span when filtering by specific Dates.
  • A room’s status set as Unavailable now interacts as it should with Housekeeping statuses.

And of course, many minor improvements to processing, security, logging, and performance.
