This year seems to have flown by. It’s hard to believe it’s July already! We hope you all are well, surviving the heat, and maybe starting to take vacations again.

Below, you can read about what we’ve been up to this year, and what we have planned.

New Feature Spotlight:

A few new features in 3.16.2

Build 3.16.2 was a small release, but it contained a few useful new features.1) Instead of printing two copies of a receipt, you now have the option to print a merchant copy and a customer copy on the same page, and then either tear or cut them in half.

2) On Guest Edit pages (Demographics tab), you can now record a Background Check date.

3) You can now hide Treatment Start and End date boxes and the MRN box, if you don’t need them.

Upcoming Feature: Online Reservations

We are extremely excited to announce that we’re working on Online Reservation capabilities.More details will be released in the next Newsletter, but thanks to a sponsor house, Hospitality HouseKeeper will be accepting online reservations starting this fall.

How this will work: Guests (or social workers, etc.) will access a page through your public website (or any other URL you choose), fill out the required information, hit Submit, and the form will be imported into HHK. Staff then will be able to access the info, and turn it into a Reservation in HHK.

The form itself will be built by your house–so every house’s form can be different.

New YouTube Tutorials

A quick reminder that we continue to grow our YouTube library of video tutorials.

New this year are videos on:

  • Changing room rates for a visit
  • Marking a room as Out of Service or Unavailable
  • Changing rooms during a visit
We’ve also updated the videos on:
  • Money on account
  • Checking out a guest
All of these can be seen on our YouTube channel, along with many others. If there’s a topic you’d like us to cover, please let us know.
