Hospitality HouseKeeper – version 3.26

This release contains many new features resulting from our client-driven development process.

What’s New

The big things:

  1. Automatic email receipts. If a house wants to automatically email out all receipts, there is now a site config toggle to do that.  One toggle for guest-paid receipts, and one for 3rd party-paid receipts.
  2. REST API. Houses can request API credentials from NPSC, and then call the API to request certain data from HHK.

The less big things:

  1. Online Referrals now includes the option for a linked Guest Middle Name field.
  2. In the Housekeeping pages (the Rooms Not Ready and Show All Rooms tabs), there is now a “Date of Next Anticipated Arrival” column, to help prioritize which rooms should be cleaned first.
  3. Email addresses and phone numbers will highlight red if they don’t seem to be formatted correctly. Users will still be able to Save the page, but this should be a visual indicator that something might have been typed wrong.
  4. For Cash receipts, lines for Amount Tendered and Change Given have been added.
  5. When cancelling or deleting a Reservation, MOA is now an option for any money previously taken in addition to Donate and Refund.
  6. On receipts where the Primary Guest’s email address is known, there is an Email button. This will email out the receipt as a pdf attachment.
  7. With the Texting integration, if the Calendar rooms are segmented (e.g. different house locations), users can now send texts to the Current Guests of specific segments.
  8. International phone numbers are now recognized and imported properly from Online Referrals.

Small changes to reports:

  1. The Birthday Report now includes a Guest Middle Name field.
  2. Patient insurance information fields have been added to the Reservations Report.
  3. Report date boxes are now smarter, and should be able to ‘read’ typed in dates.

Fixes

  • Users can no longer cancel a Reservation and take a Pre-Payment at the same time, because then users couldn’t pay out the Pre-Payment. Instead, users will need to process the Pre-Payment first, and then Cancel the Reservation.
  • Very large PSG’s were having trouble saving because of the amount of data being sent. This is now reconfigured and should not be a problem anymore.
  • If only the first name and phone number for a Referral Agent was entered, it wouldn’t Save or flag the fields. The fields now alert the user and will only Save if both First and Last are filled.
  • Taxes in the Visit Report are now split up into their individual categories, and the known mis-calculations have been fixed.

And of course, many minor improvements to processing, security, logging, and performance.
