We Have a New Executive Director 

It is my pleasure to announce that Beth VanderMeer is now officially the Executive Director of Non-Profit Software Corporation.  For now, Beth is also fulfilling her previous duties in sales and marketing, customer service, and product management, with assistance from Jessica Mobley.

This is a big milestone in the growth and evolution of NPSC.  We couldn’t have found a better leader to take the helm, as Beth’s enthusiasm, commitment, and energy encourage us to continually do better and go further.

I gladly continue with NPSC as technical architect, lead software engineer, and member of the Board of Directors.  I want to thank everyone for their part in making this dream come true.

Feature Spotlight #1

Online Referrals

We are so excited to be offering Online Referrals.  Now guests, social workers, etc., can access a referrals page through a public website and fill in the standard information, which can include:

  • Patient Details
  • Patient Address
  • Estimated Stay Dates
  • Guest Info and Additional Information

This form is highly customizable, and we look forward to seeing how different houses use it.

Once the information is submitted, it gets directed to a new Referrals tab in HHK. From there staff will be able to access the info and a new reservation can be created.

Feature Spotlight #2

Weekend Leave

With guidance from many of our clients, Weekend Leave has had quite the overhaul.

  • You now have the option to set a guest On Leave starting in the past
  • The Calendar ribbons show who is currently On Leave

  • A Leave can be extended or returned early

  • And, as usual with our improvements, a few additional minor changes to simplify the user experience
